The Power of Music - Louis

I don't know what sort of Genre's in music I like, but I definitely know which ones I don't like. Has anyone ever listened to Death metal/Heavy Metal? It sounds appalling, and I can't believe people actually like it. Classical music is to slow and boring, while Dubstep is bad if there is too much of it. Pretty much all slow music doesn't work for me, I prefer music that is fast-paced, but of course, not too fast.

Bands nowadays don't seem to be as popular. There is always changes to music as time goes by, and right now, it seems to be solo singing that is 'in' thing right now, but soon enough, that will change. Pretty much all music that I enjoy would send a tingle down my spine. Not necessarily a band, but many singers can do that, even non-singers (e.g. Scrillex).

If I was offered a chance to invite any famous singer/band around for a BBQ, I would be quite stressed of who to invite. I have a lot of singers and bands that I like, but if I was to chose only one, I wouldn't know who and I would simply name about 30 names/bands of who to come as I don't have a favorite band.

When other people listen to music they seem to always listen to the 'mainstream' music, however, older people tend to have better taste in music and they listen to songs from all times, popular or not. Music has a great impact on my life. I was incredibly annoyed when my sister stole my headphones for the last two weeks (I have an old IPod, I can't listen to music without headphones) and wasn't able to listen to my music on the bus, which shows how mug music means to me. It's not one of those things that I couldn't live without, but I would still prefer it being there.
