The Power of Music- Jesse R
I think it is interesting how large the music industry has become. What is it about a good voice that makes us as humans want to spend money on their song, thus generating millions of dollars for the music industry. I myself have become infatuated with Willy Moon's song 'Yeah Yeah' after hearing him on the X Factor NZ. His song has virtually no lyrics, no meaning, and is basically just a bunch of cool beats yet I have probably listened to it at least 100 times on youtube. Similarly, I am a fan of the Script, at least their songs have lyrics, and good ones too. Especially, "Hall of Fame" and "If You Could See Me Now". Music is quite important in my life, as I listen to while doing lots of things. I think it would be quite cool to have the Beatles round to my house as my mum and sister are always going on about them.

ReplyDeleteI know. I find it really annoying when my parents make a reference to something before my time like a band from the 70s and then they all gasp when they realise I have no idea who the band are.
ReplyDeleteIts my grandad who loves them. He used to mention their songs and I would like have no idea who they were. I figure your parents are worse though.....
