Picture Books - Marcus

My favorite picture book is The Witch in the Cherry Tree By Margaret Mahy. It is about a little boy called David who is baking cupcakes with his mother. A witch smells them while flying and wants to try and eat them. David, who is very cunning, manages to keep the cakes safe. However, in the end, everyone is happy, including the witch. This book has always keeped me entertained ever since I was little. Below is a picture of the book:

 

 

I think that everyone loves picture books and that it is great ti see that people of all ages still enjoy them.
