The Art of Stillness - William

It was a Tuesday afternoon when Mr Tait introduced us to the concept of 'Mindfulness'. This involves closing your eyes, focusing on your breathing and imagining your mind like a highway of thought, thoughts whizzing around. We repeated this exercise on Wednesday and Thursday and for me personally, it made me, and a usually boisterous 7/8T a very calm, relaxed class. I think that a calm classroom woks much better than a rowdy one, and I think that 7/8T, and myself will benefit hugely from these three sessions, especially during what will be a very busy T4.
