The Art of Stillness - Jim
I think that the mind fullness subject has been introduced to this class because some of us need to take five minutes and just be in the present and just think and relax. Sometimes things in class and even the stress of an independent study can fill our heads with all the things we need to accomplish and we just need a breather. I think it will help the class because it makes us all more settled and relaxed, making it easier to work. I think it will help me in particular with making sure that I don't get stressed about any upcoming thing or whether I've finished this or that and just breathe. I'm looking forward to more sessions and learning more ways to relax.
