That movie was so depressing. It was NOT as good as the book, like Ender's Game. They added some small bit's and changed some dialog but the mostest biggest change was that Big Joe didn't go missing. Also Bertha didn't die, that was a good change. I do wonder if Tommo survived the war, that would be interesting to find out. The charectors were not very good and I simply didn't really like the movie. The firing squad scene was really sad, don't worry Padams, I only just held my tears back. That was a really depressing movie.

In some cases, 4 or more members of the firing squad may be issued a weapon containing a blank cartridge instead of one housing a live round.[1] No member of the firing squad is told beforehand if she/he is using live ammunition. This is believed to reinforce the sense of diffusion of responsibility among the firing squad members, making the execution process more reliable. It also allows each member of the firing squad to believe afterward that he did not personally fire a fatal shot[2]—for this reason, it is sometimes referred to as the "conscience round".
