The book was really good. It really played to your emotions and you really felt like you were in the trenches with . Where as in the movie the characters and the places are messed up and the characters are different in different jobs. I don't like movie because most scenes come too fast and the charges in the trenches are almost the same each time. Even though the directors have to take into account time and actors. They could have used the book more for the characters. Some scenes that were cut out needed to be there. Based on the book means: we changed the book and made more people get shot and less background info, the timing of some scenes could have been better done.
