Private Peaceful-Lucca

I enjoyed the book a bit more than the movie because obviously the book was more descriptive and the movie cut out heaps of scenes including the one when the plane lands and they get humbugs but in the movie that scene got cut out. Things were also done at different times like when Tommo says that it was his fault that their dad is dead but Tommo actually says that in the prison not during the war.  I also think the mother played her role really well. I would make a stop motion scene when the firing squad shoot Charlie. Over all I think this book was really good and it was also very cliffhanging.
