Aha! A discussion of the standard of Our venerable country! I think that a change of flag is a very likely option. Many believe that the old flag is too imperialist, which in my opinion is not a real argument.  How would you feel if you put in so much effort into conquering some strategically pointless country and civilize it, give it an army (barely) and  kick-start an economy.  You even bother to make a nice long treaty! Then, 100 years down the track, they try to pretend you were never there! How bleeding ungrateful, It just isn't cricket! So imperialism isn't some big problem. A new flag could be quite nice (after all we don't want to be mistaken fer ozzies eh!) but  it would be barely a nice little ornament. Aussie is probably changing their flag anyway so no big deal deal. If the flag was changed we could just plan for the future and use this...
