Camp Week - Ben

Camp has always been a highlight in my school year. I still remember my first ever camp (which was actually a sleepover). Since then I have thoroughly enjoyed every camp I have taken part of.

I think schools do camps because it helps boys learn about things that aren't in the classroom and sometimes boys need to get away from school so they can have a break from work while still being with their friends. Camps are great for young boys because it widens your general knowledge outside the classroom.

Food and sleep are the most important thing on camp because without it you will not be very healthy or comfortable. I can honesly say that I am not worried about anything on camp this year.

Yesterday's walk was great. I paticuarly liked swimming in the creek itself but the walk was great as well. Overall I think that it was great idea going on a walk. I personally think the idea of walk around Somes Island is a good idea but I would have prefered to walk Somes Island instead of Butterfly Creek.
