Good morning boys. Yesterday my daughter came home from school unhappy that someone had unleashed the plot and outcome of the third book in a new series which has absolutely captured her (The Divergent series by Veronica Roth). This got me thinking about spoilers in general, whether it be a book, a movie, a sporting event etc. I know I have have starved myself of information for certain things (mostly sporting events if truth be told) and have been accidentally 'put in the picture' by someone. I have also (almost) let the cat out of the bag for an acquaintance who, being a true NBA basketball fan, a US citizen, and someone who was 'saving' a crucial match in a play-off for later after watching their own daughter's sports match (priorities, priorities...), was setting himself up for an 'unspoiled' match. I probably would have been skinned alive! Have you ever had a spoiler for a book, movie, sporting event or similar? Have you ever 'spoiled'? Do you ever read the last page of a novel? Do you watch movie trailers? To what lengths have you ever tried to avoid a spoiler?
