I found the robotics (heaven forbid!) Quite boring. Why? you may ask. The booklet thing was really boring as we didn't get any free reign or opportunity to build. Mindstorms robots are great but without the opportunity to play they are just mundane. Lego was made for enjoyment and creativity, with learning not a consideration. Just reading some other posts and seeing how the thought of using robots has been enough to provide wonder and simulation. I personally regret missing the easter service as it is quite spiritually pleasing (quite rich coming from a Buddhist!) and many people these days have lost the interest in the theological side of things but I am digressing again so to put it in the way that you will understand it, #jesus is #swag T.T.M.
Anyway back to the main reason I am writing this. I would like to do more but only if we don't have to do more nonsense like measuring how far it goes with one rotation ect. Meanwhile, creating a racetrack would be exciting as we would have to programme the bots to go around the course as well as using speed and skill to win. That is why they were made. We could even get them to play sports!
Comment below if you think that would be better.
Jorje I see where you're coming from but it's not about building, you can do that at home. But the booklet gets soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boring after a while.
ReplyDeleteyeah... soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boring
DeleteDamn straight it does!
Deletelast year we were allowed to freely play with them and do whatever we wanted. However It turned out a complete failure as no-one knew what they were doing.
ReplyDeleteIf after we learn how to do things we were allowed to just free play, it would be amazing
