And Cut... it's a wrap- Nicholas

During my first term in 2014 I have been going along at a good pace and feel I am in a comfortable postition with my independent study. However I am a little bit concerned about terms 2 and 3 and we have science fair and production, but if I can keep working on my I.S. week by week I'll be all good. The piece of work I have enjoyed so far would have to be art. But as I have mentioned previously my favourite part of Wellesley is wharfjumping! It has been a little bit challenging with my SOLO because I am finding it hard to come up with good but 'straightforward' activities that I can work through without it being too complex. This is my fith term doing the P List system and so far it works pretty well. My conduct has been good. I am an novice at robotics  and a practitioner at WNB and an expert at science and maths. The lenovo tablets themselves have not been a credit to the school as they cost an awful lot of money and I, personally think that they have not delivered as much as a laptop of lighter weight and better fuctionality and I must mention that I have had at least 6 visits to Mr. Johnson who is very kind and helpful. I think that the tablets are good for blogging and web surfing but google drive lacks in a lot of areas. But it is all a learning experince and I think we have learnt from our mistakes not to buy lenovo's products. But then again having a tablet is quite fun for playing games.

I am really thriving on my topic NASA and my dad has found heaps of his information on NASA. The class books have been really good especially private peaceful. The movie was good but definitely not as good as the book. I am looking forward to my holidays up at Whitianga and doing the Otama Bush to beach walk.

  1. A fantastic T2 wrap up Nicholas - thanks. I understand your frustration with the tablet but part of the deal is the problem solving aspect and that is a strength of yours (and all 7/8Ters). And…NSAS…what a topic. So much scope. I really am looking forward to your booklet and presentation.
