My book is My Cat Likes to Hide in Boxes and I brought in this book because it was probably my favourite book when I was about four. I think a successful picture book must have colurful but simple pictures and storyline. The artwork is probably the most important thing because that is what defines it from any other book. I would say that is very important to read picture books as a young kid because it is a fun way to learn to read. My top three picture books would probably be My Cat Likes to Hide in Boxes, George and the Dragon and Fix it Duck.
