Genesis= Genius- Judd
The character that left its mark on me the most was Aneximander because of the way that in the end she just suddenly died and the book finished. If I could ask Bernard Beckett three questions they would be: why did you chose for the people to be Orangutans?, how did you imagine all of the story line? and why did it not have a happy ending? If there was a lost chapter I would see it panning out when the examiners continue the beggining of a new "examination" but instead of finding the mutant it would slip under the radar and tell the rest of the country about what really happened to Adam and Art. I think this would have very good potential for a movie because of the fact that they were Orangutans and the way that the book was written, although the story line would change because they wouldn't be able to hold the fact that everyone was Orangutans until the end. I would say that this was the best book we have read so far even though sci-fi usually is not my thing.
