The Power Of Picture Books - Tom B

I brought in three picture books. Fix It Duck, Trucks and Spot Goes To School. I chose these books because I like them and they have lots of pictures in them, a key thing for a picture book. I chose to bring in Trucks because I knew that lots of people would get distracted by it wanting to feel all of the different trucks. Fix it Duck is a book that my dad read to me a lot, that is why I brought that one in. Finally Spot Goes to School is just an absolutely amazing picture book and it should be illegal if you don't own it. That is why I brought it in. I think that it we be very hard to write a successful picture book because you have to be the right sort of person to be good at it. You also need to be very patient and you need to be very clever.
