IND Response

I think the variety of topics is pretty big. Its easily going to be a great year from what I can tell. Im incredibly into my topic right now as I am getting the four stages under way very quickly and doing my research early.

My booklet and presentation last year weren't so good in my opinion and this year im trying to have a much better booklet and presentation. I think the things I did wrong was leaving things until the last minute, which im definetly not doing this year. If I was to try another boys topic, I may do The Spitfire, as I am currently into planes, or Herge, which books i've been reading for a long time now.

For the topic that I would know least about, would probably be Sir Don Bradman, whoever that is... If I could change the prep stages for the Independent study, I would probably make there be limits to the amount of things you need in SOLO, Inspiration and the TSM. I would make the SOLO activity list need a certain amount of activities or more, and same with topics in the TSM.

I reckon I am ahead of the place where I need to be right now, as most boys are staring their inspiration stage while ive almost finished it and have started my SOLO. The hardest thing about the independent study would be inspiration, as there is a huge amount of drafts needed to be handed in before its done. According to my brother, the IND is incredibly helpful for college as it prepares you for long projects.
