Book or Movie Ben

I personally think that it is better to read the book first because that gives you the true story straight from the authors head. But the movies are just a bunch of movie stars and Hollywood hotshots trying to recreate the story the way they find it best . Saying that, I still enjoy the movies so i can compare what the hotshots thought it would look like and what I thought it would look like. I can think of lots of book/movie combo's that i would of rather not seen the movie including The Phantom Tollbooth and some of the Harry Potters. But honestly, I cannot think of a combination where the book is the worst, only movies.
