The book Lord of the Flies is quite something. In fact, you could call it an over-sized Animal Farm, because of the way it is set out. Piggy is like Benjamin (the donkey), Jack is like Napoleon (1st antagonist pig) and Ralph is like Snowball (prontagonist pig). The way Golding really reaches into world war two children is quite remarkable.
