Book to Movie - Josh

When we watch the movie my expectations aren't that high. I feel like if it was made 50 years ago the standards will not be to where they are today. Even though the 1963 adaptation has a better review than the 1990 adaptation. I think that the movie may not follow the storyline as it was created in 1963 and they may not have had the resources or technology to recreate some of the moments in the novel. I am most looking forward to seeing Jack in the film because he is in my opinion the most interesting character in the novel. I mean even if the 1963 adaptation got a better review than the 1990 I would still prefer to watch the 1990 one because it is newer and in colour and possibly a bit easier to see. Of course I think it's time for a new movie of the Lord of the Flies. I think with the modern technology it would make it so much better and I think it would be a really interesting movie that I would watch on the premiere! If I had the chance I would play Jack. He is such a good acting role, the way he turns from innocent to savage at the snap of a finger would be so interesting to portray in a film.
