Art Week - Louis

For Art Week I made a spider web. Making it was fun, as we had to do a series of tasks to finish it. Things like these can almost never be done at home, as in our house, we never have the correct materials to make things like that, so it was fun to actually make something for once. Working with random people from different classes probably made things a bit more difficult, as the younger boys constantly needed help and we weren't able to our own work until they were started off.

Im not particularly proud of my work, as it seems like quite an easy thing to do, and if I had more time, I would've been able to make it better. The items we used to make spider webs were quite frustrating at times because every time you try to hammer the nail you will either succeed, or you don't. When you do, its all fine, but on that chance that you either hit the nail wrong or you miss, it can be a nightmare. If you don't hit it right, it may bend and you must take the nail out and retry, but if you miss the nail completly, your hand may hurt for the next ten minutes...

I don't like the topic 'Nature is our Teacher' because, it seems a very cheesy topic. I read the WNBs, and almost all of them were on the same, cheesy thing. Honestly I think we should get a better theme next time. Even so, it brought some good ideas, and it was worth it. I don't know about the art exibition in two weeks, so it is likely I won't go because of this. It would be risky trying to be a full time artist, because you are either a complete success, the opposite of that.
