Art Week - HarryC

I have had a great time this week at art week. I have been doing aboriginal art with ms Garland and have had an awesome time. I took a while to decide what to paint but I'm please with my finished work. The aboriginal art was supposed to be done on umbrellas but I decided not to paint on umbrellas and ended up painting on canvas paper.

My painting consisted of one big black circle and three smaller circles they were all black. I then painted white and red dots all over the black circles. I then made an earthy colour mixed with water and then painted that an a background.

I was having a bit of trouble deciding what to do for a background so on the last day I went and worked in the art room with the artist who was staying with us, Ben Timmins. He helped a lot and gave me lots of tips for my work which was really helpful.

Overall I had a great time this week and if I had the chance to do it again I would definitly do it.
