I also think that the topic 'nature as our teacher' is a good topic, as it opens your eyes to the sheer beauty and strength of nature, as well as teaching you about how nature is our teacher, and how we should learn from it.
I learnt a lot of different techniques to use with pastel, and I am looking forward to the Artweek exhibition. It was really awesome being able to do three days mainly on art, as I really enjoy art.
I could definitely imagine life as a full time artist (mainly because my mum is one!) but to be honest, I don't think you'd get much money off just selling art. However, I think if you wanted to become a professional artist you'd definitely need to get a degree in marketing so you could set up decent exhibitions, and put yourself out there. I have met other artists that do not have a clue about marketing, and they really struggle selling art.
To be honest I would rather be a 'Llama Ffama' (llama farmer).
So anyway, Artweek has been awesome and I am looking forward to the exhibition.
