Good morning boys. We are currently reading The Phantom Tollbooth as our class novel. We have three chapters for us to complete the book. How do you rate it? Have you enjoyed it? Why do you think the author, Norton Juster, wrote this book? Think about the date first published (1961). Would you have known this if we hadn't discussed it? The copy we are reading is called a Collins Modern Classic. How does a book reach 'Classic' status? Is The Phantom Tollbooth worthy of that 'classic' status? Who is your favourite character?
