Wow week two has just flown by in a blink of the eye. We're nine days in and I can already feel the daunting but amazingly awesome task of our full year independent study kicking in, I've already seen some boys who have been working on their independent study at home and now no that they're the ones I need to be keeping up with.
It's been such a great second week and I'm already feeling like this year is going to be a great one for me as long as I can keep up with the play, work hard, have fun and embrace the fact that this year I am a leader of the school. I'm still working on my house captain form and have had two good summer sport trials, one of the sports I trailed for was softball at first I wasn't sure wether I was going to trial but I am so glad I did because it is such an awesome sport and is really fun (I think I've found my new club summer sport) and I'll be extremely happy if I manage to make the team. I've also found some year seven boys that are really cool and enjoy the stuff I do which is going to be a real bonus seeing as I'm in a mixed year seven and eight class.
Overall I'm feeling that this year is going to be my year, I've got big goals but I feel like I can accomplish them with a bit of grit and determination.
I'm also going to start doing quote of the week this is this ones,
"Don't be afraid to try, remember professionals built the Titanic, ametures built the Ark."-Unknown
I like your Quote of the Week
