Good morning boys. Last night's news carried a story about Dean Barker being stripped of his role as skipper and sailing director of team NZ. He is obviously upset at the decision and is reassessing his future with a team with which he has spent the last 20 odd years. How he deals with this disappointment will be very interesting - there will be a lot of media scrutiny, especially this week.
How often have you found that life hasn't always panned out how you wanted it to? How do you cope with life's many disappointments? Do you think it is natural and healthy to sometimes have things which 'don't go your way'? Why? Who do you talk to if something goes against you? What is your attitude towards the 'peaks and troughs of life? How important is 'bouncing back'?
