Dear Boys,
The year has flown by and I am sad that half of you will be leaving next year. I have spent four years at Wellesley and 7/8T has been my highlight. In particular, French and English and how relaxed Mr Tait is. We have come across a variety of characters on our great journey through 2014.
Despite all of the Year 8's warnings about Mr Hampton's math class I have enjoyed it quite alot. My highlights getting High Distinction in both ICAS and Australian Maths and my Prudence award in Australian maths.
Mr Tait has read us amazing novels and my favourite would be Miss Peregrine's home for Peculiar children. I have had so much fun doing my independent study this year and I am glad that I got it done when I did. I really enjoyed all of the other boy's presentations and I loved doing mine. This year I got the award for shortest presentation(50 minutes+questions) and the next was over an hour. I am really happy with my booklet and it looks awesome on the shelf.
I am sad about the Year 8's leaving especially as I can only come up with one Year 6 who is worthy of 7/8T. Fortunately there will be others joining 7/8T next year and maybe it won't be so bad.
I gives me great honour to award 7/8T 98/100.
