NZ Playhouse - The Corrupt Dictator of a very nice small country (William)
I really enjoyed the NZ Playhouse play based on Animal Farm. I love Animal Farm and I'm sure everybody can agree with me that we all love household appliances so putting Animal Farm with a twist of household appliances was highly enjoyable. My favourite parts were probably the adverts when the "Dictator" said "I'm the Corrupt Dictator of a very nice small country" with a greatly portrayed Russian accent at the start of the ads. That was very amusing for all boys. I think it was age appropriate mainly for year eights because may I say that some year sevens were not too sure what "spooning" was so it would be quite awkward for them. Perhaps the year sevens should've had a different play... Animal Farm is my favourite novel already and I have only read one and a half pages!
