Ender's Game - Callum B.

In my opinion, Ender's Game has been the best class novel we have read so far, with brilliant ideas, great writing and an awesome plot. I think Orson Scott Card, the novels author, has made each of the Wiggin siblings represent a certain aspect of humanity, Peter representing savagery and manipulation, Valentine representing kindness, and Ender a kind of mix of them both.

Comparing Orson Scott Card with another author who writes about futuristic stuff, Ray Bradbury, author of 'Fahrenheit 451',  I think he is not as much of a 'visionary' with futuristic stuff, but is a better writer, and has better concepts.

Ender's Game has been recently been made into a movie with Asa Butterfield playing the young Ender Wiggin. The trailer (below) does the movie justice, and seeing the trailer has not made the book look bad, unlike other trailers. It looks like a good movie.

Overall, I think 'Ender's Game' definitely deserves to be on 'Mr. Tait's Off The Radar' Booklist.
