If i was asked to express my thoughts on animal farm, then I will say it was interesting. This is not because I cant be bothered to think of a decent and more meaningful word, but because I genuinely thought it was interesting.
The characters were relatable and easy to like/hate, and I found the story a brilliant and ingenious way of portraying the events of the Russian revolution to younger and less mature readers (even though it was not meant to be this way).
The story was easy to follow, emotional, but most of all: entertaining. I genuinely enjoyed this book, the way it was written, and it's meaning.
But it still had its faults. It was a little confused between a children book, an adult novel, and a "how-to create a brutal dictatorship" book.
But I enjoyed it.
