Animal Farm - The Aftermath - William C
We have just read Animal Farm as a class and I think that it is one of the most important pieces of literature to have ever been published. I don't think this neseccarily is because of how well the book was written, but how Orwell confronted a really very serious problem, and did an incredible job of it. If I had a question for Napoloen it would be; "what did you want out of the rebellion?" I would ask him this because even though he was portrayed as a man that was in it for himself and himself only, I think that he really did think that the farm would be better off under his leadership. To sum the book up in one sentence I would say that it is a chilling encounter with one of the most dangerous problems to ever confront the world as we know it. I found that it was at times, painful to see the animals ignore things that were right in front of their eyes.
