'The Age Of Information' Luke

I personally have never heard complaints about information getting dumbed down, though I think that could be that could be the case in America and not here. There may well be 'too much information' but this also means that there are so many sources for us to get our information from it is more like to be correct. People say we live in the Age Of Information and there is knowledge and info all around us. My point is that information in NZ is not getting 'dumbed down' and that too much information is not  bad thing. However, I can see how Beatty would think. From now, information could get dumbed down and there are signs of it. Info could begin to evaporate and the future of Fahrenheit 451 could become realty, though this is extremely implausible. Still, it could express the author's fears about such a future.
