Home Straight - William

With the rest of today, one more day and then prize giving on Friday, it is fair to say that life in 7/8T as a year 7 is over. One of the most memorable moments for me was that feeling when you pull your Independent Study off the binder and take it over to the shelf. I am really looking forward to being a year 8 in 7/8T, with the chance to do another Independent Study. I think that the most important lesson to take away from 7/8T is to put your head down and work hard in the early terms of the year. The Book Thief was a great novel, and although I was away for sizeable chunks, I enjoyed the book. Death certainly is a great narrator. What I think would be a maxim for a person in 7/8T is to work before play.
