Miss Peregrine-Harry W

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children is a great novel and it is my favorite novel this year and probably of in my top ten of all time. I think that the class really enjoyed because of the quirky style of writing and how the book revolved around the peculiar children. If I had to label it under a genre it would probably be young-adult fantasy. It is really great that there is a sequel to this wunderbar book and I personally prefer the sequel as there is a lot more action and plot twists and it is just overall better. I think that the photographs add a lot of value to the book and the fact that there are also photos in the second book, is great. It is really clever how Ransom Riggs wrote his book around the pictures and the amount of time he must of spent searching for those old photos must have been immense.
