The Home Stretch - William

The last 41 days of my life as a Wellesley College pupil are here, and the end of the year is rapidly approaching. My Independent Study looms as a big commitment for this term, but smaller things on the side such as speech and sports fixtures will keep me on my toes. I am rubbing my hands with glee and anticipation at the prospect of presenting my I.S on The Watergate Scandal to the class. About 9.05am on the first day back at school, it clicked as to how rapidly fast things were coming up, but I am confident I can achieve them, as I have already accumulated 269 runs on the board. I know that I am not out and hopefully, this tally keeps growing until we reach the fateful day they call 'Prize giving.' Hopefully I am remembered for the genius that I am... I mean as a kind humble fellow going about his daily business. If I were principal for a year at Wellesley, I would resign immediately, and go and make millions at Wall Street instead.
