Greetings boys - you have 18 school weeks to go before the end of the year. Having just returned from a decent three week break there is much to talk about...How did you 'feed your soul'? How do you take yourself out of school routine, rest your body and mind, re-energise, and just enjoy the other stuff? How keen were you to get back to school? Is there a tipping point where too long a holiday dulls the senses a bit and makes you even more tired and lethargic? Did you try something new over the break? Stay in a favourite place? See an unmissable movie? Devour a life changing book? Formulate an ungoogleable question? What did you do to 'give back' (family, community...)? How are the current rumblings in the world (Gaza, Ukraine, Iraq to name a few) affecting the value you place on currently living in NZ? How will you 'push on' this term (especially WNB + I.S.) with the mighty school production sitting on your shoulders all the way through T3?
I moslt fed my soul food and water, maybe a bit of Coke, some beans and a couple of other things. For most of the holiday is was Sydney having a bawl of a time... Mostly people teasing me about my accent. I think one of the most time consuming part of my holiday was FIFA 14 and CoD Ghosts. After a while the holidays were getting quite boring... So I'm glad (kind of) that I'm back at school 😃 although another week would've been nice. Hopefully this term I can get stuck in to I.S. Although I do miss being able to sleep in until 10:00... I'll miss those days. 😭
